With impressive production values, a stunning new stage, and the most talented young singers from the United States, Mexico and Central America, La Academia Kids kicks off its second season this Sunday, August 17 at 7pm/6pm CST on Azteca America. La Academia Kids is the childrens version of La Academia. Hosted by Ingrid Coronado who is joined this season by actress and host Mariana Torres, who will be backstage supporting the children before and after their performances. Likewise, the host of Venga la Alegría, Carlos Arenas, will be with the young performers mothers, capturing their reactions as their talented children perform. Also returning this season as judges are Lola Cortés and Alicia Villarreal. An alumnus of the first season of La Academia, Víctor García has become an icon of the singing academy and he joins the panel of judges to add a touch of levity to the proceedings. He brings with him twelve years of experience as a singer and actor.
