Azteca America names Eduardo Cancela as general sales manager of stations in Miami and New York

Azteca America has named Eduardo Cancela to the position of general sales manager for stations in Miami and New York. The appointment is effective immediately and was announced by Jorge Jaidar, general manager of Azteca America Station Group.Cancela has an extensive background working in both television and radio. Prior to joining Azteca America he held executive positions in sales and marketing with Spanish Broadcasting Systems Radio Group, Telemundo and Univision. Cancela will be based in Azteca America’s Miami office.“We are very excited to welcome Eduardo to the Azteca America family,” said Jorge Jaidar. “His extensive broadcasting experience as well as his deep knowledge of the Hispanic audience will be an asset to the Miami and New York stations.”
