WAPA TV launched its new original comedy Such is Life (13×60’) with a special two-hour premiere on Monday, June 26, at 9pm ET/6pm PT.

Directed by Eduardo “Transfor” Ortiz, the new primetime weekly series will simulcast live in the U.S. each Monday at 9pm ET/6pm PT on WAPA América, WAPA TV’s U.S. cable network arm.

The series marks the first television program in history to bring some of the biggest actors and comedians from both Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic together in one show.

Such is Life showcases a stellar cast of Puerto Rican veteran comedians, including Jorge “El Molusco” Pabón, Carlos Vega, Giselle Ortiz, Yaiza Figueroa, Erik “Chicho” Rodriguez, Bryan Reyes and Jo-Ann Toro, as well as celebrated Dominican stars Fausto Mata, Tony Pascual, Aquiles Correa, and Manolo Ozuna.

The comedy series will feature stories that find the humorous angle of everyday situations.

“We are thrilled to have this degree of talent from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic collaborating on this project; we know this series will help us reach the enormous Dominican Community in both Puerto Rico and the United States in a way like never before. We are so excited to welcome this star-studded project to our WAPA family,” said Jimmy Arteaga, president of Programming, Production, and Promotions at WAPA TV.
