Telemundo 47/WNJU has announced the addition of Cristina Navarrete to the station´s news team. Navarrete will work as a general assignment reporter and help report the latest local news for the stations weekday and weekend newscasts.Navarrete previously worked for both Telemundo Wisconsin and CBS 58 in Milwaukee. Fully bi-lingual in English and Spanish, she has worked as a reporter, producer and fill-in anchor for both stations, serving also as a reporter with SoiTV and with Radio Cosmos-Universidad Autonoma de Mexico. Cristina is a rising star who shares Telemundo 47s deep-rooted commitment to the New York Tri-States Spanish-speaking families, neighborhoods and communities, said Karen Mendez, VP of News, Telemundo 47. She possesses a deep passion for the news and has developed a clear connection with her viewers. I am thrilled to welcome Cristina to the Telemundo 47 family.
