
Musica Por Venezuela
Telemundo announced wall-to-wall coverage of Venezuela Aid Live, an international benefit concert to raise funds and bring global attention to the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela.
The network’s special coverage will kick-off on Friday, February 22 live from 7am/6CT on Un Nuevo Día and continue throughout the day on Noticias Telemundo Mediodía, Suelta la Sopa, Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste, Noticias Telemundo Nightly News, and Telemundo local stations.
In addition, the network will broadcast Música por Venezuela (Music for Venezuela,) a special show hosted by Telemundo’s Rodner Figueroa live from Colombia at 1pm/12 CT.
“Music has no borders. It is a universal language that can give relief when people fall short of words. Our network will be covering this historic event that will bring together for the first time some of the best performers of the region,” said Ronald Day, EVP of Programming for Telemundo Networks.
The unprecedented concert, which is expected to be attended by hundreds of thousands of fans will be presented from Cúcuta, Colombia, located on Venezuela’s border. Featuring a line-up of international and regional artists, the whole concert will be streamed live via Telemundo.com on Friday from 11am ET/10 CT/8 PT to 4:30pm ET/3:30 CT/1:30 PT.
Following the live broadcast on Friday, Telemundo will present highlights of the concert on Lo Mejor de Música por Venezuela (The Best of Music for Venezuela), a special two-hour program hosted by Al Rojo Vivo’s Rodner Figueroa on Saturday, February 23 at 2pm/1 CT.
