Telemundo: With original debuts for one same night we want to create an event TV

With the launching of three original productions on one same night, Telemundo aims to create an event television, approach new TV viewers and take their products to a much higher level.“We want to create what we call event television, where people can come to our screen -at no matter what time- to see an extraordinary product. We want people to perceive a Telemundo they had never seen before, and not only those who already watch the channel, but new people, so they can enjoy three totally different products, different genres and a different way of producing,” stated Luis Silberwasser, president of Telemundo, during the event for the premiere of MarTres celebrated in Miami.The presentation took place in the Conrad Hotel in Brickell. The host was Jorge Bernal, and the top brass of NBC Universal Telemundo Enterprises was there, including César Conde, Chairman of NBCUniversal International Group and NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises; producers, writers and talents from the three novelas: Silvana Sin Lana, Sin Senos Sí Hay Paraíso and Señora Acero 3.“We expect these products to mark a milestone in the Hispanic market and turn Telemundo into a truly leading network and a network for the future,” added Silberwasser during the presentation.
