
Karen Barroeta Telemundo
For the first time, Karen Barroeta in her role as SVP, Marketing and Creative for Telemundo Networks, which she assumed more than a year ago, is working on the development of campaigns for sports for events such as Copa América and Women´s World Cup.
“We are working very closely with Ray Warren, president of Telemundo Deportes, for summer to be a very important moment this year, as it was last year with the Men’s World Cup; for us to be able to benefit from those people who are passionate over sports and bring them to see products they might not be currently watching. It is an opportunity to work in the Sports area, trying to innovate in terms of the image what we are going to present on this opportunity,” commented Barroeta enthusiastically.
Together with Warren, Bill Bergofin, SVP Brand and Content at Telemundo Deportes, who comes from organizing sports events in the general market, is actively collaborating in the project.
Barroeta added that they have the creative support of Grey Argentina for these projects. The first pieces will start to be aired between April and May.
“We are working with Diego Medvedocky, president of Grey Argentina and CCO of Grey LatAm, and Pablo Sánchez Rubio, CEO, who are amazing leaders and have a wonderful team. The projects in their portfolio are truly creative and out of the box, from the smallest to the biggest. Their ideas are thought for today’s audience, comprised of people who are overwhelmed with advertising and content messages, and they know how to leave something in the minds of new consumers,” she ended.
