Journalist Octavio Pulido has been named weekend news anchor for Noticiero Telemundo Arizona, which airs Saturday and Sundays at 4:30pm and 10pm and is simulcast on Telemundo Tucson/KHRR. Pulido will make his on-air debut on Saturday, September 3.We are committed in strengthening our weekend newscasts and that is why we chose a journalist who is passionate and experienced, said Miguel Gaytan, News director for Telemundo Phoenix. Pulido has worked as an associate news producer, video journalist and fill-in anchor at Univision Arizona/KTVW since 2011. He earned a bachelors degree in Communications from the University of Texas at El Paso and is a member of the Arizona Latino Media Association and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.”I am excited and honored to join the Telemundo Phoenix team, a local news leader for viewers in Arizona, commented Pulido.
