Mentiras Pasajeras among VIS’ new projects

Federico Cuervo, SVP and general director of VIS Americas commented, in the context of In Conversation Con VIS, that the studio has had a great deal of movement with the debut of productions that had already been announced for this period, including Los Internacionales. He mentioned there are several projects in different production phases, such as the second season of Club 57 with Mediapro Studios.

He announced the agreement with Nick Jr. to adapt for the Anglo-US market the sci-fi/thriller, Dani Who? in a series and a podcast.

Cuervo added that, together with Deseo, a production company owned by Pedro Almodóvar, they are making the series Mentiras Pasajeras; and working on new Paramount titles to adapt into series, as they did with Atrapa Ladrón and now El Asesino del Olvido, an adaptation of Persona from Turkey´s Ay Yapim. He reported that the second season of Resistiré, which was “very successful in 2019”, is coming. Additionally, he announced a production and distribution alliance with Mexico`s Dynamo for premium content production, a thriller, and action series to be shot in Mexico City.
