Major League Baseball returns to ESPN Deportes

ESPN Deportes will begin its 2014 coverage of Major League Baseball (MLB) with the Opening Night game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres March 30 at 8pm. More than 80 regular-season games – 65 more games than last year – will air across the network’s platforms as part of a recent multiplatform rights extension agreement.ESPN Deportes will air 54 regular-season games every Sunday for Sunday Night Baseball at 8pm and at least 25 Monday and/or Wednesday night games. The network will also air the Home Run Derby taking place in Minnesota, Opening Night, Opening Day and holiday games.ESPN Deportes +, the ESPN Deportes broadband network, will provide exclusive Spanish-language coverage of 30 MLB regular-season games.Béisbol Esta Noche, ESPN Deportes’ baseball news and analysis show, will provide viewers all sides of the argument every Sunday during the regular season at 7:30pm. Baseball expert Carolina Guillén and former MLB star Candy Maldonado return as hosts.ESPN Deportes MLB coverage is also available on computers, smartphones, tablets, Apple TV, Xbox and Roku players via WatchESPN.
