The founder, partner and president of Condista, Jorge Fiterre, received the Extraordinary Service Award, granted by the organization The Multicultural Media, Telecom and Internet Council (MMTC) on the 8th Annual Broadband and Social Justice Summit.

The event, which was held in Washingtron, D.C. on Tuesday, February 7, was attended by hundreds of media and telecom industry experts, insiders, and entrepreneurs to highlight the most far-reaching issues affecting minority entrepreneurs and underserved communities.

The Broadband and Social Justice and FinTech Empowerment Awards Reception honored diverse champions in media, telecom, and tech.

The Multicultural Media, Telecom and Internet Council (MMTC) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving equal opportunity and civil rights in the mass media, telecommunications, and broadband industries, and closing the digital divide.
