Intrigue acquired to Latin Media Corp. Chilean series Pushovers to be produced for US television

Intrigue, the Los Angeles-based production company specializing in transforming international formats into series for US television, has acquired the format rights to Pushovers (Peleles), a crime-comedy series originating from Canal 13 Chile.Intrigue will produce the US version of the hit show which the indie producer acquired from Latin Media Corporation.Pushovers focuses on a group of workers who, when unexpectedly laid off from their long-standing jobs, decide to steal from their former employer to make ends meet.
