Humberto Gatica musical producer: We launched Andrea Bocelli’s CD Cinema with a concert in video that will be aired on PBS

The renown musical producer Humberto Gatica announced to PRODU that the CD Cinema, which is about to be released on October 23rd, was carried out with a very cinematographic concept, for it is comprised of great musical themes from relevant films. “It is very melodramatic, cinematographic and will be very important in Andrea Bocelli’s career. I think it will be very successful,” he said.Gatica, who will receive a Board of Directors’ award in the Grammy 2015, worked on this project together with Tony Renis and David Foster. Humberto Gatica is represented by Uno Produtions.A month after the launch of the CD, the PBS (Public Broadcasting Service), will broadcast a concert that was recorded in Hollywood with the great film stars. “It was the first evaluation we did of the material and the result was very satisfying”, said Gatica, who mentioned that renowned artists like Andy García and Jessica Alba. A DVD with the live concert will be also be sold. The project had orchestrations by the London Symphony Orchestra, with arrangements by diverse arrangers. “It is a CD that deserves to be in a home in which music is truly appreciated”.The CD includes theme songs from films such as Doctor Zhivago, Love Story, The Godfather/El Padrino, Life is Beautiful/La Vita e Bella, Gladiator, The Postman/Il Postino, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and many more. It also has songs from musicals like West Side Story and Evita. There will be a version in Spanish with nine songs in that language.
