Deportes Telemundo unveils a state-of-the art studio in Hialeah that brings innovation and breakthrough technology for all of its properties starting on Thursday, August 8 with Titulares y Más at 11:35pm.The brand new studio will feature a dynamic, contemporary look for flagship shows including Titulares Telemundo and Titulares y Más as well as live broadcasts of Mexican soccer, World Cup qualifiers and the upcoming Barclays Premier League.“This is a landmark moment for Deportes Telemundo as we prepare to launch what will be our home for years to come. We’ve designed and built a spectacular looking set that is modern, versatile and smart. Some of our investments in technology and lighting will actually help us reduce our operational costs over time, while keeping Deportes Telemundo at the forefront of innovation on Spanish-language sports television,” said Jorge Hidalgo, executive vice president of Sports at Telemundo Media. Deportes Telemundo’s new studio will feature new lighting and design technology that will allow viewers to immerse themselves in the broadcast like never before, featuring devices that enhance the viewing experience such as a fully customizable 30–foot video wall that adapts to each and every show by becoming a virtual backdrop and centerpiece for Fútbol Estelar. Deportes Telemundo is taking steps to become more green by employing the latest LED lighting technology throughout the set. The new lighting grid includes almost 300 fixtures that can be completely customized for each area of the studio, spending 75 percent less power used per kilowatt, resulting in a longer lifespan that benefits the environment. The new studios will also maximize the integration of sponsors and product placement via a 12×12 projection screen, LCD monitor desks and physical branding designed into the set.
