Amazon will have the rights for the launch of Hernán in Spain and Latin America

Dopamine, Onza and Amazon Prime Video announced a license agreement for the exclusive rights of OTT in Spain and Latin America of the Hispanic-Mexican period drama Hernán.

The 8-episode series is expected to be launched in 2019 when the 500th anniversary of Hernán Cortés´ and his troops’ arrival to Mexican territory. The main actor of the plot will be Óscar Jaenada.

Hernán is shot in natural settings and also in locations built for that purpose in México and Spain, and has the help of the special effects company El Ranchito, known for their work on Game of Thrones, leading the reconstruction of the spectacular Tenochtitlan, along with other historic places.
