Miami-Dade Office of Film and Entertainment Still Without Guidelines for Restarting Production

Sandy Lighterman, Miami-Dade County Film and Entertainment Commissioner (FilMiami), announced that her team is working on adequate safety protocols for all companies to go back to work in the county, including those in the film and entertainment sector. She said that County Mayor Carlos Gimenez hasn´t announced details of the business reopening, but that in a week there could be new information on the subject. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all film and photo permits issued by the Miami-Dade Office of Film and Entertainment for all Miami-Dade County properties and roads, and including Miami International Airport, Miami-Dade Transit, PortMiami and non-incorporated areas, are suspended until further notice.
