Tr3s presented new results of their recent study Millennials at work and in their spare time

Patricia Molina | 15 de mayo de 2014

Today’s Young adults grew rich, always believing that a bright future was waiting for them. But while they started their adult life, and as a consequence of the 2008 crisis, they have experienced many challenges. How have they reviewed their expectations? And when they have spare time, what do they do?Tr3s has recently launched its 2014 study that includes these matters among Hispanics and non-Hispanics of 19 to 34. This project included quantitative and qualitative explorations to an audience of approximately a thousand polled, as well as information from Simmons, the Pew Hispanic Center, Nielsen, and many studies from Viacom. Some key ideas of this wide analysis were that job and employment have a great importance in the Hispanic and non-Hispanic millennials’ minds. Hispanics that have been hit harder by recession feel greater uncertainty. Nevertheless, they feel their expectations have been delayed but not lost.Additionally, it was concluded that the known Millenium Generation is prone to underline the positive aspects. Also, Hispanics have a good attitude to work (they are prouder of their work, they have good relations with their bosses and work colleagues). Finally, the main objective of their spare time is to relax. Controlling the stress is essential. Alcohol and informal meals are a recurring topic in their free time activities.
