Joseph Tripodi nuevo CMO global de Subway

Subway chose Joseph Tripodi as new Global CMO. Tripodi will replace Tony Pace, who resigned to open his own firm, after the scandal unleashed by Subway spokesman, Jared Fogle, for child abuse.Tripodi worked for years as Executive VP and CMO in Coca-Cola. Previously, he was senior VP of Allstate for four years and also served as CMO in The Bank of New York. “I’m thrilled to join Subway at this exciting time in the brand’s history” Tripodi said in a statement. “As consumers tastes evolve, I want to build on Subway’s legacy of innovation to ensure we are always leading in our marketing, product offerings and consumer engagement strategies.”Recently, Subway chose BBDO as its record agency, after a review. Although Coca-Cola carried out a creative global review in recent months, it’s possible another one could take place in the near future, following the arrival of Tripodi’s successor.
