81% de los hogares hispanos hablan al menos algo de inglés en el hogar

Even more Hispanics in the US are adopting some American behaviors and attitudes, even while they still attach to Hispanic values. New researches from the Latino knowledge panel of GfK, documents a breakdown of traditional Hispanic culture towards biculturalism. The patterns of past waves of immigrants to the United States suggested that current generations of Hispanics could mix their culture more quickly. Further, the study shows an increase in the proportion of Hispanics who identify themselves as “bicultural” compared to 43% five years ago.Among the most interesting data found on this occasion, it was discovered that 81% of Hispanic households speak at least some English at home. However, 86% believe it is important that Latino children learn about Hispanic culture; suggesting that the values and culture remain strong in the family.”These data demonstrate that communication towards Hispanics can no longer be only in Spanish; on the contrary, most communications must be in English. Therefore, sending a coordinated strategic message and culturally adapted will allow you to reach diverse populations” Carlos Garcia said, senior GfK Multicultural Practice VP in North America.Click {here;http://www.gfk.com/us/Pages/Landing-Pages/Hispanic-Research.aspx} for more information.
