Mauricio Sabogal comes back to WPP group as Kinetic’s global CEO

Mauricio Sabogal, who worked as BPN’s global CEO until now, announced his decision of coming back to WPP Group, as Kinetic’s global CEO, the outdoor branch of the corporation.“I have mixed feelings since obviously what I was doing in BPN was a pretty interesting project, the development of a new agency where many things were achieved these last years, awards, new accounts, expansion, but life is full of challenges and I am coming back to WPP, a company where I started and where they trusted me again to manage Kinetic,” Sabogal commented to PRODU.The CEO will take office next July, 7th, in which he will lead Kinetic’s global operations, focused currently on the United States (including the US Hispanic market), Europe and Asia.Regarding the next edition of Cannes Festival, Sabogal added: “I wish BPN wins in Cannes since I will close this stage of my career successfully.” On its behalf, IPG Mediabrands has not published any official statement about who the substitute person will occupy the place held by the Colombian executive until now.
