La campaña fue desarrollada por el artista de calle NosE Lanariz
It’s not supposed to snow in Spring. Not even in Chicago. That’s why, when a monstrous snowstorm covered the city of Chicago, the agency Lapiz had a hot idea. The agency used the snow to write a bunch of announcements in a poster format, to encourage people to spend vacations in sunny Mexico. The outdoor campaign, guerrilla-style, was developed with the street artist NosE Lanariz, and spread to high traffic places around the city, such as building walls and roofs as well as in the subway.Messages like Take your clothes off and Come melt under the sun, were two of the signs that were written with 100% snow and that redirect the audience to the web page of the Ministry of Tourism of Mexico. It is an example of the power the idea has: the media is the message. The campaign was also produced in a sustainable way, and was low budget. Also, the campaign is highly shareable on social media.
