Kiko Ricote seeks to establish new angles and realities through Drone Shots

Patricia Molina | 3 de marzo de 2015

Kiko Ricote, who recently worked on his campaign The Seven Deadly Sins, with the aim to promote his commercial photography studio , has developed new projects to show to the audience. In this opportunity, it is about Drone Shots, a technique where a photo or video camera is placed on a remote control helicopter to make amazing aerial shots. His most recent projects, more than state a form of art, give life to and highlight the colors of the Tower of Miami and the Resort World Bimini.”To achieve this technique, we look for a clear place where the helicopter can take off and land that is near the object we want to take pictures of. I have a monitor and a pilot to indicate the angle and the position in which I want to shoot”, Kiko Ricote told PRODU.The Resort World Bimini and the Tower of Miami were not two places chosen randomly. Both clients contacted Kikor to capture his architecture and he offered the Drone shots technique. For this photography professional, this initiative can be very useful because it doesn’t require long working hours, only two men and 15 minutes for each aerial shot. “Imagine seeing your creation or product from angles that were previously impossible. You can’t put a real sized helicopter among downtown buildings. I am seeking to capture points of view that are normally not appreciated”.To see the Drone shots of the Tower of Miami, enter {Vimeo;https://vimeo.com/120414039} or visit his webpage: {Stock photo Miami;www.stockphotomiami.com}.
