Next March 18, Julieta Venegas and Latin funk party band Los Amigos Invisibles will go on a tour of concerts sponsored by Jack Daniel’s, the brand of sour mash whiskey made in Tennessee. The exclusive concert series will continue throughout the month of March with stops in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago and elsewhere.The tour is part of the brand’s project to engage the U.S. Hispanic market that began in 2005. “Jack Daniel’s 150-year heritage includes a long association with music” said Laura Petry, brand director for Jack Daniel’s. “We’re proud to bring talented Latin artists to the Sala Siete concert series for our friends of Jack to enjoy”.“I am very excited to kick off another tour with Jack Daniel’s, one of the few brands that truly embraces and supports our music” said Julieta Venegas, whose latest work Los Momentos has been nominated for a Latin Grammy.“We want to thank Jack Daniel’s for making these types of events happen to support the Latin music in the U.S. See you on the tour!” said Catire Torres, bass player of Los Amigos Invisibles, whose latest album Repeat After Me, made Billboard’s Top Ten, and has had several Grammy nominations.Fans can register online through Sala Siete for the chance to win tickets.
