Former VP, Consumer and Entertainment Public Relations at Univision Communications, Iveliesse Malavé launched The CC Shop, a multicultural PR and social media agency. The new communications collaborative shop brings together marketing communications counselors with vast experience in multicultural marketing, public relations, event management and social media. “After leading multiple communications teams in-house and for some of the world’s top firms, I’m proud to launch a different kind of agency to address the needs of the new American reality. There is growing demand for experienced storytellers that can help brands make meaningful connections” said Malavé. Malavé, who holds a journalism degree, founded The CC Shop together with Favila Budyszewick, previously Managing Director at Policy Wisdom. “Now more than ever, it is critical to understand the cultural connections that bind us. Our goal is to bridge that divide by helping clients connect with their target audience through a deep understanding of their wants and needs” said Budyszewick. Malavé will act as Principal, Creative Partner. Prior to Univision, she was a SVP at Fleishman-Hillard managing the P&G Beauty Hispanic portfolio of premier brands such as CoverGirl, Pantene, Olay and Clairol. While Budyszewick -Principal, Managing Partner-, has led the development and implementation of many successful campaigns including UPS and Humana Healthcare as well as leading international PR firms including Fleishman-Hillard and Weber Shandwick.
