General Mills, creator of the bilingual digital platform targeting Hispanics, Qué rica vida (What a tasty life), announced the launch of Celebra lo rico (Celebrate taste), a new multi-episode web of the brand that invites Latinas living in the US to celebrate their culture, connecting through the experiences of three Hispanic bloggers.The series began airing on the YouTube channel Qué rica vida last January 8th and will continue until Mother’s Day, with a new episode available every other Thursday.”We wanted to create a new series to show the real life experiences of Latinas in the US, as an extension of our platform, where we strive to inspire our audience to celebrate their culture through food and connection” Natalia Ortega said to PRODU, media planner of the site Qué rica vida. “It welcomes taste, seeks to build relationships with bicultural Latina mothers through culturally relevant recipes and lifestyle articles highlighting the diversity within the Latino experience, including health and wellness, holidays and family,” she added.The ten-episode series features three food bloggers, Melissa Bailey, Morena Cuadra, and Fernanda Beccaglia, who contributed with articles and recipes. Within each delivery, the bloggers will share the inspiration behind their blogs, and experience as a Latina from different backgrounds living in the US.
