Christian Mondragón joined Casanova//McCann team as Senior Copywriter. The Colombian creative has a vast career path in agencies like Sancho BBDO, Ogilvy & Mather and DDB in Latin America. His artwork have obtained international recognitions at Cannes Lions, One Show, EFFIE, FIAP, New York Festivals, and others. “When I started conversations with Casanova//McCann, I also had other proposals from agencies in Miami, but what inclined me for Casanova was to see a very consolidated agency getting out of its comfort zone, betting on new ideas, talents from other cultures or professional fields, and risking to step out of the traditional format” he pointed out.For Mondragón there is no doubt about the potential of agencies and their creative teams to stand out and reach recognition in Cannes. “This is reaffirmed year after year with more and new awards. 2017 continues to be the year for the industry” he added. He explained this as a valuable opportunity of growth for his career. “This experience is important for the future of my career. I am here to learn how to work at another rhythm, under processes and rules that are different from Latin America. I am sharing with people who have lots of experience; I think the sum of all these things will give me the opportunity to be part of very important projects in the U.S.”
