Blake Chandlee, VP partnerships de Facebook

For Blake Chandlee, Partnerships VP at Facebook the company is no longer a unique platform and is now a network of interconnected platforms that work in making the world more open and in constant communication. These statements are part of his conference in IBM Amplify 2015, an event that for three days analyzes in depth the future of commerce and its relation with clients.Chandlee assures that the conversations of 1.2 thousand million users through mobile can be the foundation for a phone company, which is why his next challenge is to commercialize at a large scale but in a personalized manner. “It isn’t about clicks or impressions. It is people,” says Chandlee about the brand’s intention to migrate in the measurement mechanism. The conference, which is centered this year on ´The Future of Customer Engagement Now`, highlighted the commitment brands have with the client. According to a report by IBM Econsultancy, almost 80% of consumers say brands behave as if they didn’t know about them.Facebook and IBM announced at the beginning of the month their alliance to work in the sale of information and consumer preferences of users of the social network to companies interested in improving their brand and product positioning. Facebook already has 1,300 million users which generate 2.5 million posts per minute and who use the platform as a forum to share their experiences related with brands.
