ALMA Still Leading Shortlists For The Hispanic Market In CLIO Awards

The 58th edition of the CLIO awards announced on Tuesday, September 5th its official list of classified campaigns for the categories Brand Design, Product Design, Film Technique, PR, Audio and Audio Technique. Since they announced the first shortlist on August 22nd, the Hispanic market has accumulated 14 nominations. ALMA is at the top with ten nominations.The agency ALMA added two nominations for the series Narcos for Netflix, one in the category Brand Development for Spanish Lessons, and another for Spoiler Alert in Product Launch. Spanish Lessons had already been nominated for Digital/Mobile, Social Media, Commercials (between 30 and 60 seconds), and Single Platform Campaign; while Episode Leak obtained one in Single Platform Campaign. The agency also has a nomination for Help Kenya, Not Kanye for Crowdrise in the category Crisis & Issues Management, and this campaign was also nominated in Digital/Mobile. LAPIZ campaign Tequila Cloud for its part achieved a nomination in the previous round of results for the Mexico Tourism Board in Ambient; while Dieste was nominated this time for its campaign Put It Down for Apple Sport Chevrolet in Streaming/Downloadable Content. The agency LatinWorks now has two shortlists for its campaign Ponle Acento for the Major League Baseball, since in this new listing it is nominated in the category Multicultural. The campaigns nominated for Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Hall of Fame, will be announced on September 11th. The ceremony will take place on September 27th in the Lincoln Center in New York.
