Adidas aids Boston bomb victims

After the bomb attack in Boston at the finish of the city’s traditional marathon, the German sports apparel and equipment brand launched a special T-shirt as a tribute to the victims and in honor of the city of Boston.The T-shirt bearing the words Boston stands as one is available from the Adidas online store at a price of $26.20.All profits from sales of the special-edition T-shirt goes to The One Fund Boston foundation, which is providing aid for the victims and the families of those who died in the Boston attack.”The selflessness and compassion demonstrated by the City of Boston, the first responders, the Boston Athletic Association and all marathon volunteers in providing assistance to the injured have stuck with us and inspired us” said Patrik Nilsson, president of Adidas America. “We commend Boston – and of those associated with the city and the marathon – for their reaction to this very challenging situation.
