Univision announces open auditions for new reality singing competition Va Por Ti
The Univision Network announced this Friday that open auditions for its new reality singing competition, Va Por Ti (This Ones for You), will take place between April 5 and May 23, 2014 in major cities across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. For the first time ever, Univision is working with Televisa to produce an original show entirely for the U.S. market. In this new musical reality competition, 12 of Latin musics biggest stars each choose and coach an aspiring singer for a chance to win $250,000 and become the newest Latin singing sensation. Each week, viewers vote to save their favorite artists.Scheduled for a Fall debut, Va Por Ti will give a gifted Hispanic singer the chance to make his or her dream come true by becoming the next Latin music star. Expert talent scouts will be on hand at the auditions to spot the most promising candidates and bring them on board for an once-in-a-lifetime experience that could lead to international fame.
