Latin Media together with VIP 2000 TV sponsored Reed Midem’s welcome cocktail at MIP Cancun, as well as a screening. Latin Media is also celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.
“Latin Media is celebrating ten years in this market, it was in September 2009 when I decided to undertake this project, starting humbly, and after ten years we have achieved a lot and we will continue to progress,” said José Escalante, CEO of Latin Media.
Together with Roxana Rotundo, CEO of VIP 2000 TV, Escalante said it was a pleasure to work with Reed Midem, “who supports us to participate despite not being such a large company. We’re proud to be here and able to gather all these Latin American clients who want to see content, who want to see the novelties that VIP is bringing and also Latin Media.”
Recalling her career at RCTV, Dori Media and her constant learning with Latin Media, Rotundo reaffirms her 25 years of experience in the Asian market, where even now they are producing. “We are already going through our fifth production, short soap operas that we produce in Malaysia and that for now, we are marketing in Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore, South Asia, and we hope to grow and continue producing as well.”
Personally, she announced the recent launch of her book Amor de Peregrinos (Love of Pilgrims), a dream and a challenge that she wanted to fulfill, it’s inspired by an idea that she had after a pilgrimage through the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. She said that the funds collected by the sale of the book will go to an NGO that is helping children and the elderly in Venezuela. It can be found on Amazon, Barnes and Nobles and in Books and Books.
