The Iberoamerican Advertising Festival (FIAP) announced that for its 47th edition it has reorganized in one discipline the categories awarding political campaigns, that includes: Electoral Campaign, Best Government Campaign, individual piece (the jury can split the category according to the media), Best Claim, and Interactive (includes web actions, viral action and social networks). The juries in this category are: Antonio Sola, Partner and Director at Grupo OstosSola (Spain); Jorge Imhof, Founder and Director of I Latina (Argentina); Luis Duque, Strategy Partner & Communications (Colombia); and Joaquín Mollá, Founder of The Community (U.S.), according to a press release posted at FIAPs web site. As part of their activity agenda, FIAP has invited one of the most successful and colorful political marketing figures, Memo Renteria. His conference has been entitled: Memo Renteria, a politically incorrect publicist. The festival will take place on May 18th, 19th and 20th at the Intercontinental Presidente Hotel in Mexico City.
