Zodiak Latino: Co-producing documentary Narcotec with Mazdoc of Colombia

Zodiak Latino in partnership with Mazdoc of Colombia are currently producing a documentary titled Narcotec, based on the technology used in drug trafficking.PRODU spoke to Harris Whitbeck, CEO of Zodiak Latino, who said Narcotec is a documentary that looks at drug trafficking from a completely new perspective: the technology developed by drug cartels to evade the law.“I hope this is the first of many documentaries dealing with current issues from a fresh never-before-seen perspective. We’ve reached an agreement with a free-TV network in the U.S., and we are already in the production phase. Research has been going on for a long time, because these are difficult issues to take on,” said Whitbeck.The executive added Zodiak Latino’s goal is to create a current affairs division to develop this type of documentary. “We believe this unit will resonate well,” said Whitbeck.
