After celebrating the first year of the launch of the Zee Mundo signal in Latin America, Javier López, general manager of Zee Mundo, announced they had managed to consolidate three million subscribers in 15 countries and had also raised their signal to the satellite.
“Recently, we managed to add 15 new clients after our visit to Peru. We are now focused on closing several agreements in Colombia that we will soon announce. Part of our growth is the result of launching the Zee Mundo signal on satellite at very comfortable prices, thus catering to small cable operators in the whole region,” commented López.
Zee Mundo Play was launched on June 8 and cable operators will be able to include the applicative on their OTT platform or work directly with the Zee Mundo platform.
As for contents, every month they are launching three films and regarding series, every week they have a new episode. “We continue with approximately 660 hours of annual content, and are very happy because people know our product, recognizing the value of our programming,” concluded the executive.
