ZEE Entertainment Enterprises, one of the main media and entertainment companies in India, announced the launching of two of their main signals with content on general entertainment and lifestyles around the world in Latin America and the Hispanic US market, grouped under the brand ZEE.The signals will be aired 100% in Spanish and Portuguese and will be available for operators this year.ZEE offers a selection of the best series, telenovelas, and musical and cooking contests generated by the 34 ZEE channels in India, as well as the most acclaimed and popular Bollywood films.For his part, the global channel ZEE devoted to lifestyles, originated in the US, is characterized by the high production values of its contents about health, travel and universal culture. “The qualitative and quantitative research, carried out in the main markets of the region, including Mexico, Brazil and Argentina, has allowed us to identify great opportunities for our two channels in Spanish and Portuguese on linear and pay TV platforms in Latin America and the Hispanic US market, stated Punit Goenka, president of ZEE Entertainment Enterprises.ZEE operations in the region will be coordinated from the main offices of ZEE Entertainment in Mumbai, India, with the support from a devoted team in Miami, led by Andrés Biernat (ex Discovery, Sony, E! and Warner Channel), and representation offices in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina in a second stage.
