World Cup Qualifiers for South America, La Liga and MotoGP lead beIN SPORTS’ March ratings

La Liga viewership, bolstered by matches like FC Barcelona vs. Valencia and Real Madrid vs. Real Betis, grew 16% year-over-year on beIN SPORTS en Español

beIN SPORTS announced the network’s ratings wins for the month of March. Among the broadcasts with the strongest showings were the World Cup Qualifiers for South America: Argentina vs. Chile and Brazil vs. Paraguay. Overall, beIN SPORTS and beIN SPORTS en Español combined to deliver over 3 million Total Viewers and 1.8 million among Adults 18-49, which represented a 6% increase in viewership from the World Cup Qualifiers in November. 

Additionally, La Liga viewership, bolstered by matches like FC Barcelona vs. Valencia and Real Madrid vs. Real Betis, grew 16% year-over-year on beIN SPORTS en Español.

For seven consecutive months, beIN SPORTS en Español, has out-delivered Spanish-language sports networks on the weekends, including Univision Deportes and FOX Deportes.

Argentina vs. Chile, broadcast on beIN SPORTS en Español, was the highest match of this round delivering 605,000 Total Viewers and 362,000 of Adults 18-49. Compared to all cable competition, this match was the second most-watched qualifier of this round, outperforming matches on ESPN 2, ESPN Deportes, FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2. Meanwhile, Brazil vs. Paraguay was the second highest delivery on beIN SPORTS en Español with 453,000 Total Viewers and 251,000 Adults 18-49.

Panama vs. USA on March 28th was the most-viewed telecast on beIN SPORTS year-to-date and the most-watched qualifying match of all time on the network outpacing the beIN SPORTS total day average by triple digits.

The FC Barcelona vs. Valencia match on March 19th combined to deliver 627,000 Total Viewers across both networks.

The MotoGP Grand Prix of Qatar, hosted at the Losail International Circuit on March 26th, posted a 117% increase in viewership year-over-year on beIN SPORTS, making it the most-viewed race on the network since MotoGP coverage commenced. The combined total viewership of all the races – MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 – on both networks totaled 260,000 viewers.
