Who is going to MIPTV?

PRODU consulted different industry companies on their attendance to MIPTV, after the restrictions of the French government due to the coronavirus.

Those confirmed include Televisa with Fernando Muñiz, General Director of Televisa Networks and Televisa Internacional, together with his team, still not defined. Televisa Europa will also join the event, as confirmed by its director, Claudia Sahab.

TV Azteca, instead, reported that for the time being, their representatives for European territories will be the ones to attend the event. No one will travel from Mexico. This was a decision made earlier.

Meanwhile, Kanal D and Record TV are part of the companies that decided not to go, due to the situation in France.

Others, such as SOMOS Distribution, made the decision not to attend, due to the crisis, whereas companies like Caracol and Mistco are debating whether to go or not.
