Christian Pagán, winner of the first season of Idol Puerto Rico
The second season of Idol Puerto Rico , co-produced by WAPA TV and FremantleMedia, is ready to initiate auditions. The production team announced that all residents of the US who are talented singers between the ages of 16 and 28 will have the opportunity to be in the select group of contestants.The auditions will be held Saturday April 28 in the Juan Pachin Vicens stadium in Ponce and Saturday May 5 in the Hiram Bithorn staudium in San Juan. The judges who will be entrusted with evaluating the participants on their singing ability and stage presence are Venezuelan singer and songwriter Ricardo Montaner, the Puerto Rican producer Topy Mamery and the singer Yolandita Monge. Idol is a unique form of entertainment that has positioned itself as the most successful in all the countries in which it has been transmitted, and in Puerto Rico, it already proved its excellence with the first season commented Portilla Portilla, the programs producer. This season will be hosted once again by Jaime Augusto Mayol, and will include Michelle Brava as vocal coach, Ed Coriano as stylist and Jose Raul Ruiz as trainer. The galas will be held in the Centro de Bellas Artes in Caguas. Christian Pagán won the first season of Idol Puerto Rico and now is working on his second album under his Universal Music record label.
