WAPA América now available in 5.2 million U.S. homes

WAPA América is now available on Cox Communications cable systems in Hampton Roads, VA, and Northern Virginia, bringing the network’s total distribution to 5.2 million U.S. homes. WAPA America can be seen on channel 290 of the Latino Pak.WAPA America airs more than 40 hours per week of original, locally-produced entertainment programming from Puerto Rico, including SuperXclusivo, the highest-rated series on the Island, as well as more than 30 hours per week of live news produced by Puerto Rico’s largest and most-trusted news-gathering team. The network also delivers the most popular sporting events in Puerto Rico, including the National Superior Basketball League games and title boxing events, as well as special programming from other Caribbean countries.“There are approximately 75,000 Puerto Ricans living in Virginia.
