Fans of Puerto Ricos National Basketball League (BSN, for its Spanish acronym) in both Puerto Rico and the United States will be able to continue enjoying live BSN games, after the leagues president Carlos Beltrán signed an agreement with WAPAs president José E. Ramos for rights to transmit the games for three additional years on WAPA América in the U.S. and on WAPA 2 in Puerto Rico.As part of the agreement, the series Final will also air on WAPA-TV, the leading broadcast network in Puerto Rico.We recognize the importance of these games for the fans and viewers. The public has proven that they support their national basketball teams and we want to continue to make them happy by giving them access to the games on our air for three more years. The renewed contract reaffirms our commitment to make WAPA 2 the leading sports channel in Puerto Rican homes, said Ramos. Under the agreement, BSN will dictate which games to televise, making sure to offer the five most important games from the regular season, as well as exclusive rights to air all of the games in the Semifinals and Finals. For fans who arent able to watch the games from the stadium, its an honor to bring the games to their living rooms on WAPA América in the U.S and WAPA 2 in Puerto Rico, said Beltrán.
