Detrás Apollo 11
Vme TV brings viewers a historical account of Apollo 11, the spaceflight that first landed man on the moon in celebration of its 45th year anniversary, with two original productions: Detrás Apollo 11 and Vme Documentales: NASA 45. The hour-long, educational specials will air on July 18, 2014 at 9pm and 10pm, respectively. Luis Sosa, the host of Detrás Apollo 11, transports viewers to explore one of the most powerful government agencies in the U.S., the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). This Vme TV original production concludes with an exclusive interview with one of NASAs first Hispanic astronauts, Dr. Franklin Chang-Díaz and Jack King, the official voice of the Apollo 11 launch countdown. Vme Documentales: NASA 45 provides a chronological account of the events that took place 45 years ago on July 20, 1969. Among them are highlights of historical moments in time, including spectacular images and recollections of President John F. Kennedys famous promise to the nation to take man safely to the moon and back before the end of the 1960s.
