Vme premieres Punta Escarlata

Vme launches Punta Escarlata, a suspense filled mystery series premiering Thursday, September 20th at 10pm (ET/PT).The series, that runs for 13 weeks on Vme, centers on two Madrid police officers that team up to solve a case that occurred eight years ago in the small coastal town of Punta Escarlata. Their investigation triggers a new, disturbing series of murders that may be related to the case.After the death of her mother, Lucía (Nadia de Santiago) tries to kill herself, but police officers Bernardo Bosco (Carles Francino) and Max Vila (Antonio Hortelano) arrive in time to save her. While recovering in the hospital from the attempted suicide, Lucía is overcome with visions and the irrational urge to travel to a town she has never been to or heard of—Punta Escarlata. She escapes the hospital and her revelations guide her to the remains of two girls who went missing after a town festival eight years earlier. A series of unsettling events lead Bosco and Max to further investigate Lucia’s identity and why this teenager is suddenly involved in this case.
