One of the big surprises of the upfront season was the Vme network nailing down the rights to broadcast the miniseries Los Kennedy in the United States.Los Kennedy will air in eight hourlong episodes beginning in October of this year on Vme. We bought it from News Entertainment of Canada. The History Channel was going to broadcast it on the Anglo market but the owner is a close friend of Maria Shriver and the Kennedys, and decided not to televise it because of the controversy surrounding the series.
