TelevisaUnivision’s ViX announced the premiere of Algo Personal con Jorge Ramos, a new celebrity interview program hosted by journalist and author Jorge Ramos. As part of Noticias Univision 24/7 news streaming channel, Algo Personal con Jorge Ramos premiered exclusively on ViX Sunday, April 24 at 10pm and will be available on-demand in the U.S. and most Spanish-speaking Latin America, excluding Mexico. The show, which will allow viewers to see a different, more personal side of the prestigious news anchor, is Jorge Ramos’s first-ever streaming program.
“This is a new, welcomed, challenge for me. After spending most of my career talking to presidents and politicians, this is a great opportunity to talk, unhurried, with writers and artists about their innermost motivations. It’s truly something personal, for them and for me,” said Jorge Ramos.
The show’s first guest is the celebrated actor, comedian and filmmaker Eugenio Derbez, who starred in this year’s Academy Award-winning film CODA. The first season also presents intimate conversations with renowned international personalities including Alejandro Sanz, Carlos Vives, Isabel Allende, Javier “Chicharito” Hernández, Joan Manuel Serrat, Mario Vargas Llosa, and Sebastián Yatra, and the musical group Maná.
