Azteca America will begin the first season of Escándalos (40×60) on Sunday September 27th at 8pm. Ricardo Álamo, actor and owner of Nirvana Films, who directed 11 episodes of the first season of Escándalos -in Miami- and Roxana Rotundo, founder and president of VIP 2000 TV, spoke with PRODU about this production.”Escándalos is a format with a very cinematographic look. They are episodic series handled very carefully. In Miami everything looks good, which conveys a special shine to the program, stated Álamo.”This is the first time an original VIP 2000 TV product is placed on the screen of Azteca America. Margarita Black, Programming VP, trusted the format since day 1. She believes in this concept and that it can last several seasons” expressed Rotundo.Rotundo mentioned that both Azteca America in the US as well as Televen in Venezuela supported Escándalos from the beginning. The initial episodes launched on Azteca America are Muy Joven para Morir (Selena), El Color de la Ley (O.J.
