For the first time, WAPA América, the sister cable network affiliated with Puerto Ricos leading broadcaster, will air a live broadcast of Viña del Mar, the most important musical event of the Americas, beginning on Sunday, February 23, at 9pm. Held annually in Viña del Mar, Chile, the 6-day festival features international music stars performing rock, pop merengue, salsa, reggaeton, bachata, etc. The 2014 event features huge stars from around the world, including Ricky Martin, Rod Stewart, Ana Gabriel, La Ley, Tommy Torres, Alexis y Fido, and Carlos Vives, among many others. Past performers include Elton John, Romeo Santos, Mark Anthony, Luis Miguel, Juan Luis Guerra, Carlos Santana, Daddy Yankee, Gloria Trevi, and the Jonas Brothers.Viewers can enjoy live performances each day through Friday, February 28, from 9-11pm.
