ViendoMovies premieres exclusively the acclaimed movie Leonera on Saturday May 24th at 9pm. The movie is an originally produced drama from Argentina by Pablo Trapero and it was Argentina’s 2009 Academy Awards official submission to Foreign-Language Film category.Leonera is the tender story of an incarcerated woman who gives birth to a son and struggles to raise him from prison. She comes to the realization that her son is the only person that matters. Leonera stars Martina Gusman (Carancho), Elli Medeiros (Femme Fatale), and Rodrigo Santoro (300 and Rio). The movie has won over 15 awards, including the Silver Ariel for Best Latin American Film and over 20 nominations, of which 11 were nominations for the Silver Condor.
