Continuing with the unveiling of the series Liberators that began with the premiere of the Mexican film Hidalgo, The Untold Story, ViendoMovies presents the film co-produced by Spain and Cuba, telling the story of one of Cubas greatest and most inspiring poet and hero José Martí, The Eye of the Canary.Directed by renowned Cuban filmmaker Fernando Pérez, who commented the following: José Martí was a truly sensitive man who marked the history of Cuba. But he was also a normal human being, like any one of us. I think that is what makes great men great. My film will delve into the day-to-day complexity that helped form Martis character during his childhood and teenage years.Luis Villanueva, Somos TVs president and CEO said: On our constant search for the best available films for our audience, it is with great pride that we present to them this great production that narrates the early life of one of our most endearing and admired figures in history, during the monthly celebrations that unite all of us US Latinos.
