VeneMovies presents a Christmas Eve lineup of family, musical, and comedy films oriented to unite the whole family and enjoy stories that fit the Christmas spirit.The highlights for Christmas are the two Manolito Gafotas, films full of tenderness and the humor that can only be offered by children and their pranks. The two productions have been programmed one after another to provide and opportunity for audiences to watch these wonderful histories.Manolito Gafotas 1 (2000), stars David Sanchez del Rey, Antonio Gamero, Alejandro and David Martínez, Adriana Ozores, and Robert Álvarez. In Part 1, which takes place during the summer, Manolito is given the opportunity to accompany his father, a truck driver, on a business trip. Manolito Gafotas 2 (2001) with Doro Berenguer, María Barranco, the Great Wyoming, Vicente Haro, Óscar Ladoire, presents the adorable Manolito on Christmas vacation.Another title of this lineup is Ángeles SA (2007), with María Isabel, Pablo Carbonell, Silvia Marsó, Anabel Alonso, Juanjo Pardo, and Óscar Casas.Carlitos (2008), another one of VeneMovies selections, is a family comedy with Gustavo Salmerón, Irene Visedo, Jose Maria Pou, Guillermo Campra, and David Becerra.Late at night, the channel presents La mala (2008), the cinematographic debut of the Cuban composer and singer Lena. Inspired by the famous Cuban artist The Lupe, Yolanda strives to be a singer.
