The films tells the adventures of a sweet character called Coatí, inspired by the cute animal from Central and South America
Upstairs founder, Anabella Sosa, producer with over 20 years of experience in advertising, film and TV; and Luis Balaguer, founder and CEO of LatinWE, with over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, announce the production kick-off of feature film Coatí.The animated movie has an ecological message, lots of Latin flavor and heart, and tells, with humor, the adventures of a sweet character called Coatí, inspired by the cute animal from Central and South America.The team of professionals that are part of the production includes animators, illustrators and writers from Río 2, The Book of Life, Despicable Me, Ice Age 5, Metegol and Song of the Sea, among others.Casting sessions that will include actors, influencers and celebrities for different characters in both English and Spanish, begin in April. The actress and entrepreneur, Sofía Vergara, executive producer of the film, will have a special participation as a villain.Last Monday, February 23rd, in the Upstairs production and post-production studios in Miami, a cocktail reception took place where producers, artists and executives from the entertainment industry, celebrated the beginning of this great project.
